Welcome
Welcome to the inaugural issue of our Newsletter entitled “Snap Shots.”
The newsletter will be published 4 times per year and will serve to
assist Brides in coping with the stress that comes along with a
wedding. Our philosophy at Precious Images is to make your special day
as stress free as possible. So hopefully some of these tips will help
you eliminate stress while you plan your wedding. We have prepared
these tips based on our experience with other brides and the mishaps
that have occurred. Let their experience help you plan for your special
day.
Most Popular
Wedding Dates

Do you know what the most popular months for weddings in the Rio Grande
Valley are? We tabulate the results of Brides that register with us
during the various Bridal Fairs where we exhibit. At the last Bridal
Fair in McAllen on January 15th, the most popular month was
June 2006. Not much of a surprise there. Can you guess what the second
most popular was? See below to find out.
We had almost 200 Brides register with us and this is the breakdown of
the top 10 months that they indicated they are getting married.

What does this mean to you? If you are planning your wedding for one of
the top 10 months, then you need to get contracts and deposits to the
vendors that you want for your special day. They will be booking dates
quickly. The top 10 months represented about 80% of the brides that
registered with us.
Shoes

What bride isn’t excited about buying new shoes for your special day?
It’s always nice wearing those beautiful sandals or those matching
pumps, but when selecting your shoes for that very special day, please
keep in mind - COMFORT!!!! Lots of brides buy shoes
because they like the heel, fabric or style. But you have to keep in
mind that you will be wearing these shoes from the moment you leave your
house to go to the church and then of course, all during your reception,
which we know will include dancing. So it’s very important to that you
keep comfort in mind. You can also bring an extra pair of comfortable
shoes along to change into at the reception. Shoot, we have even seen
brides barefooted at the reception!
Make-Up
Ok, you are thinking “I don’t have to worry about that because someone
is going to do my makeup for me before I get dressed”. Wrong! You need
to consider that you will be hugging and kissing a ton of people on your
wedding day. Not to mention, that some of you may shed a tear when your
future husband is saying his vows, or when you say yours. The solution
is simple; assign someone with a small
makeup bag as your make up person. They can touch you up when you need
it and you won’t have to be worried about where the makeup is. Also,
try to not use pressed powder, it tends to make your face look over made
up and blotchy.
Thank You
Writing Made Easy

The importance of saying “Thank You” has been drilled into most of our
heads since we were youngsters. However, as we get busier, and Lord
knows you will be busy after you get married, it gets harder and harder
to keep up with your “to do list.” It is vital to thank family members
and friends for their participation in making your day special and for
the thoughtful gifts.
We can assist you in making this task a little easier and provide those
special friends and family with something that will really say you
appreciate their help. We offer fine art “Thank You” cards that help
make it easier for you to communicate your heartfelt thanks.
These superior quality
Fine Art Cards by WillowBook are printed on 100lb uncoated heavyweight
stock. Every card order comes pre-folded and includes coordinating
envelopes. Sold in sets of 25, each order will arrive packaged in a
black box.
Card options allow selection of cover graphics, standard or customized
greetings, and a variety of formats, styles, borders and fonts to choose
from. Fine Art Cards are offered in color and black-and-white.
Color-corrected cover images may be full color, sepia, or black and
white. Text printed inside cards will be black.
