We love photographing weddings and it shows in our work!

We regularly get comments that we are not like other photographers.  We want you to be relaxed and have a good time on your special day.  Our philosophy is to make your special day as stress free as possible.  We do offer suggestions and recommendations, but we are at your service.  We enjoy our work and it shows in our attitude and style.  We tend to be more like one of the family, the ones that you like, than a photographer.  We take the time to get to know you and look for special ways to express your emotions and feelings on your special day.

 

 

If you are looking for someone that only takes "posed" photographs and dictates who stands where, and bend this way, no now this way....then we are probably not the photographer for you.  We do take traditional photos of families, and we do position people so that you can recognize everyone in the photo, but everyone is there to have a good time and we don't want to ruin that by twisting you around so that your back goes out during the photo session.

Our typical wedding coverage consists of the traditional family photos, but mainly consist of photojournalistic photos that capture the wedding as it unfolds.  You will treasure these photos as memories of your special day forever and they will probably be passed on to your children and grandchildren.  Think about seeing photos of your grandparents, you want the photos of one of the most treasured days in your life to be passed on for generations for all of your family to cherish.  We recognize that the photos are not the most important part of the day.  Obviously, exchanging the vows and being with your family and friends is foremost for this special day.  We work quickly and efficiently to get the traditional photos out of the way so you can enjoy your guests.  We are honored that you have selected us to be a part of your special day.

We always look for humorous situations at the wedding.  We all realize that the wedding is a serious event, but there are almost always things that happen that are humorous, whether it is the ring bearer being disgusted that he has to touch a girl, or fumbling with the rings.  We are ALWAYS willing to photograph any crazy ideas that you may come up with....and sometimes we may even suggest some to bring out that wild side of your personality.
